Greenhouse staff are involved in everything from preparing soil for plants to selling the plants. Responsibilities can include cultivating soil, planting seeds, grafting plants, fertilizing, and pruning. Workers also monitor the temperature, moisture, light, humidity, and oxygen in the greenhouse to create optimal growing conditions.

Seed dibbers, bean and pea rings, computerized monitoring systems, garden tools, automated irrigation and misting systems
Education Required
An associate’s degree in agriculture is a plus in securing a greenhouse post.
