STEM Career: Evolutionary Psychologist
Evolutionary psychologists help humans break cycles of behaviors. In this biological approach to learning about and explaining human behavior, they study mental and psychological traits and identify what traits may be evolved adaptations. They look at memory, perception, and language as adaptations resulting from natural selection. They also work in private counseling with people who want to change their behaviors by examining their environment and relationships.
